# Panta vs JobCloud: Public search API or partner job feed?

Panta is a straightforward starting point for public Swiss job queries. JobCloud’s partner-feed programme is a distinct option for integrating listings from its job portals into a publisher’s website.

## Choose Panta when

You want an agent or application to query source-linked Swiss records without setting up an affiliate partnership first. Public REST and MCP make Panta suitable for a bounded discovery workflow; reuse rights still need checking if you plan to display employer content elsewhere.

## Choose the provider when: JobCloud

Your product is a publishing or affiliate channel and specifically needs listings from JobCloud’s portals under partner terms. That feed relationship serves a different purpose from a public shortlist API. Panta does not promise the same inventory, partner revenue or syndication rights.

Panta is an observed index, not a census. Its public API does not offer a bulk export or historical time series. Observed past employer listings are incomplete. Public access does not grant rights to republish third-party descriptions. Check source freshness and the original advert before acting.

## Questions to resolve before choosing

- Do you need to read listings, publish your own ads, or both?
- Which portals, fields, formats and permitted display uses are in the partner agreement?
- What attribution, outbound-link and refresh requirements apply?

## Try the Panta side with a real request

Use Panta’s JSON example to prototype a small search. If the final product republishes a portal feed, evaluate a provider agreement for that use rather than treating public search access as a redistribution licence.

This read-only example asks for up to five data-engineering records in canton Zürich. It does not filter for English-only work or establish candidate eligibility. A live response can have fewer or no matches.
