# Panta vs Techmap / JobDataFeeds: Interactive Swiss search or bulk job datasets?

Panta suits a bounded, source-linked Swiss search. Techmap’s JobDataFeeds offering is more directly aimed at buying Swiss bulk feeds and historical datasets, alongside API access.

## Choose Panta when

You need a small current shortlist or an agent task with source and location evidence, rather than a dataset ingestion pipeline. Public REST and MCP let you explore the records without provisioning a marketplace subscription.

## Choose the provider when: Techmap / JobDataFeeds

You need daily files, a warehouse import or a historical Swiss corpus. Techmap documents those products explicitly. Panta’s public API currently has no whole-market bulk export or historical time series, so it should not be presented as an equivalent replacement for an archive purchase.

Panta is an observed index, not a census. Its public API does not offer a bulk export or historical time series. Observed past employer listings are incomplete. Public access does not grant rights to republish third-party descriptions. Check source freshness and the original advert before acting.

- Does the contract cover recent postings, a historical archive or both?
- How are repeated ads, multi-country posts and later corrections represented?
- Which file format, delivery delay and permitted downstream uses fit your pipeline?
