SNSF-funded PhD position in lipid metabolism

• This research will provide multi-disciplinary training as require a combination of complementary approaches, including molecular biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry and computational biology
• Master's degree or equivalent in biochemistry, system biology or analytical chemistry
• Experience working with mass spectrometry is essential and knowledge of working with mass spectrometry imaging in plus
• Highly organized and capable of working both independently and within the team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as fluency in both spoken and written English is essential
• A supporting and state-of-the-art research environment to develop scientifically and professionally
• The opportunity to work and get training on a multi-disciplinary research project; with pre-clinical models as well as clinical studies
• The position is fully-funded by Swiss National Science Foundation and available from November 2026 (or upon agreement)
