Getting the checker ready…

How the ATS readability check works

Panta checks contact details, common section headings, dates and text issues. For files, inspect the converted text against your original document, especially reading order and missing content. Read the CV checking guide or use the same checks through the API.

How different ATS platforms read a CV

These platforms can turn a document into application fields. Panta shows its own text extract so you can check it alongside the employer’s form. Each employer can configure its system differently.

Greenhouse

Greenhouse documents problems with image-based resumes, complex layouts and some headers or columns. A failed parse can require manual field correction; it does not itself establish rejection.

  • Keep names and contact details in readable document text.
  • Check columns, tables, headers and footers against the parsed profile.
  • Correct skipped fields manually when needed.

Workday

Workday describes prefilled contact, work, education and language fields from an uploaded CV. Check those fields in the employer’s application and correct them before submitting. Features depend on configuration; this review does not reproduce Workday’s parser or skill assessment.

  • Review personal details, work experience, education and languages after upload.
  • Check dates and roles in the application form against your CV.
  • Review suggested skills before keeping them in the application.

SAP SuccessFactors

SAP documents that parsing can be imperfect and scanned or image-based PDFs may not parse as expected. Compare the prefilled profile with your actual experience. Employer configuration matters; this review does not reproduce SuccessFactors or certify a file for it.

  • Use a text document; scanned-image PDFs can parse poorly.
  • Check contact details, current employer and title in the candidate profile.
  • Check the employer’s form: parsing depends on its configuration.
