About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Swiss financial institution with a strong reputation in wealth management and private banking.As part of its continued growth ambitions, the bank is seeking an experienced Senior Private Banker to strengthen its Basel-based private banking business and assume Deputy Head of Branch responsibilities. This opportunity combines business development, client relationship management and leadership responsibilities within an entrepreneurial and performance-oriented environment.

Job Description

• Transfer and develop an existing private client portfolio in compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Acquire new clients and generate significant growth in assets under management.
• Leverage an established personal network among entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and wealthy families in the Basel region.
• Develop long-term client relationships through a holistic approach to wealth, financial, and entrepreneurial needs.
• Actively contribute to the growth, visibility, and positioning of the bank in the Basel market.
• Serve as Deputy Head of Branch, supporting the Branch Manager and contributing to the commercial success and team dynamics of the office.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or a closely related environment.
• Proven track record in acquiring and developing HNW and UHNW client relationships.
• Strong personal network within Basel and the surrounding region, particularly among entrepreneurs, executives, professionals and wealthy families.
• Demonstrable history of generating Net New Money, attracting new assets and growing client portfolios.
• Established and transferable client relationships within the Swiss domestic market.
• Strong understanding of the complex wealth management and financial needs of entrepreneurs and private clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and deliver strong commercial results.
• Leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute positively to the development and commercial performance of a growing branch.
