As a System of Systems Architect at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Build on and consolidate the existing architecture to create a coherent vision for the overall program, addressing both strategic and technical challenges.
• Define interfaces between systems and subsystems, as well as integration, quality, security and maintainability criteria.
• Work closely with engineering teams and suppliers to understand technical constraints, analyze supplier inputs and adapt the architecture to selected solutions.
• Contribute to requests for information, quotations and proposals, and evaluate proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance lead on integration and testing activities across multiple subprojects.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, and communicate architectural decisions to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.

About You

You could be our ideal candidate if:

• You are a senior architect with strong expertise in System of Systems architecture and complex systems integration.
• You have experience defining and managing interfaces between multiple systems.
• You are comfortable working hands-on with engineering teams and suppliers to solve technical challenges and make systems work together.
• You can manage several technical topics in parallel while maintaining a coherent overall vision.
• You produce high-quality technical documentation and understand testing and validation processes.
• You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• You are fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• You have experience in the defense sector, which would be highly valued.
