About the role

For our Headquarters in Lugano, we are looking for a

Senior Infrastructure Architect & Technology Platform Manager

Who will play a key role in shaping and evolving our technology landscape, ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of our infrastructure platforms while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Main responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the infrastructure architecture roadmap in line with business priorities.
  • Lead the evolution of secure, scalable and resilient hybrid cloud and on-premises platforms.
  • Drive cloud transformation, platform optimisation, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strengthen observability, service reliability, high availability and business continuity.
  • Promote DevOps, Platform Engineering and IT service management best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders, mentor internal teams and manage technology vendors.
  • Support cybersecurity, compliance and technology risk management in a regulated environment.

What you’ll bring

Experience

  • 7+ years in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure architecture, platform design and enterprise IT operations.
  • A track record of leading technical teams, projects or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare or another regulated industry is an advantage.

Technical expertise

  • Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud and Microsoft 365
  • Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V, storage, backup and disaster recovery
  • Infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
  • Identity and Access Management, Microsoft Defender and cybersecurity
  • High availability, resilience, business continuity and ITIL practices

Preferred certifications

  • Microsoft Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Security, VMware or ITIL certification
