For our client, a dynamic and fast-growing international investment group with a strong focus on commodities, we are looking for a highly motivated, analytical and ambitious individual to join their team in Switzerland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, understands complex trading processes and systems and likes to work in a dynamic and sometimes hectic business environement.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and reconcile trading positions and P&L across commodity portfolios
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across trading and reporting systems
• Support risk management, financial reporting and business controlling
• Analyse and improve processes, systems and reporting tools
• Work closely with Trading, Operations and Finance teams across the group
• Maintain a clear overview of trading activities and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT or a related field
• MSc - Commodity Trading preferable
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in Commodity Trading, Middle Office, Trading Operations or Finance
• Good understanding of the commodity trade flow, from trade execution and logistics to settlement and reporting
• Strong analytical skills, excellent numerical abilities and a passion for working with systems and data
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence in working with complex reporting tools
• Structured, detail-oriented and proactive approach
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
• Ambitious, curious and motivated to take on increasing responsibilities
