Compliance Officer

We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer for one of our clients, a renowned company in the Banking industry (Ref. No. 900340/1)

What the role ia about

This is a hands-on banking Compliance Officer position rather than a purely advisory/policy role. The person will support the Compliance function across onboarding, periodic KYC reviews, transaction/payment monitoring, higher-risk relationships and KYT, together with internal procedures, audits/regulatory documentation and compliance training.

Key responsibilities

• Client onboarding and periodic KYC reviews

• AML / CDD / EDD and higher-risk client relationships

• Plausibility checks on payments and transactions / KYT

• goAML and preparation/management of reports to MROS

• Preparation of documentation for internal/external auditors and authorities

• Updating internal policies and procedures

• Supporting internal training on AML, sanctions, CDB, cross-border and suitability

• Broader Compliance controls and internal advisory activities

Core profile

• University degree in economics, law or equivalent

• Specialist Compliance education such as CAS, DAS, Executive Master or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years' experience in banking Compliance or with a regulated financial

Intermediary

• Solid knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework

• Strong Italian, plus good French, German and English

• Good Microsoft 365 skills
