Panta vs Jobmaps
Two approaches to Swiss job-search MCP
Jobmaps and Panta both document public job and employer search through MCP. Panta is useful when the workflow also needs a direct public REST interface and source-evidence checks.

Read as MarkdownChoose Panta when
You want to move between an assistant and documented REST JSON, then inspect source observations, canton evidence and the distinction between a Swiss workplace and remote eligibility. Optional workspace access can keep the chosen roles and application work together.
Choose the provider when: Jobmaps
A geographic map, radius-based discovery or Jobmaps’ saved-search alerts are central to your workflow. Its public MCP already supports jobs and employer searches. Choose on those task details rather than assuming that connecting a different server automatically improves recommendations.
Compare the access and data
| Decision | Panta | Jobmaps |
|---|---|---|
| Best starting task | Swiss-eligible job discovery and employer research, with source evidence. | Swiss map-based job discovery, employer search and alerts. |
| Documented access | Public REST JSON and MCP market reads without a Panta account or API key. Personal workspace tools need OAuth consent; client policies still apply. | Public MCP job and employer search without a login or key. Optional saved-search alerts are also described. |
| Data and delivery | Bounded, paginated search and job details with source observations. Descriptions and fields can be missing or incomplete. | Job and employer lookups with geography, employment and work-model filters. Employer-package API access is a separate advertised feature. |
| Access and usage costs | Public market reads currently need no paid plan. Approximate request limits apply; optional keys are available. See the current access documentation. | Public MCP search is described as account-free. Employer packages and any additional API access have their own terms. |
Panta is an observed index, not a census. Its public API does not offer a bulk export or historical time series. Observed past employer listings are incomplete. Public access does not grant rights to republish third-party descriptions. Check source freshness and the original advert before acting.
Sources and review scopeQuestions to resolve before choosing
- Do you need a radius/map workflow, a canton filter or both?
- Which alerts or saved-search actions create personal records and require approval?
- Which current listings, source links and usage limits are available through the chosen interface?
Try the Panta side with a real request
Ask each assistant for the same role in the same area and inspect the returned advert links. Keep employer discovery separate from evidence that a particular employer has a current vacancy.
This read-only example asks for up to five data-engineering records in canton Zürich. It does not filter for English-only work or establish candidate eligibility. A live response can have fewer or no matches.

Panta publishes these comparisons. Provider descriptions follow the linked public documentation; we have not benchmarked coverage, speed, accuracy or hiring outcomes. Features and plans can change. An unverified capability is not a finding that it is absent.
These are provider documents, not independent performance tests. We did not create vendor accounts, buy datasets or send private data to a provider. Check the current contract, field definitions and rights for your own use case.
