Editorial standards and source method

Panta should make it easy to see what a claim means, where it came from and what remains uncertain.

Guides begin with a reader's decision

Each guide should help one person answer a question or complete a task. We publish full examples, worksheets and limitations in the page itself. We do not add paragraphs, FAQs or near-duplicate pages merely to repeat search terms.

Claims stay close to their sources

Material factual claims link to the source that supports them. For Swiss application conventions, we prefer public employment services, cantonal or university career services and current employer instructions. We separate requirements from conventions and recommendations.

Sources can disagree or become outdated. When the difference matters, we explain it, narrow the claim or leave the point unresolved. A search-result snippet is not treated as evidence that the underlying page says what we need.

Examples are honest about what they are

Fictional candidates and employers are labelled. We do not invent customers, interviews, reviewers, credentials, quotes or hiring results. An example may clarify a method; it does not prove that the method will produce an interview or job offer.

AI-assisted work remains accountable

AI may support research, structure, editing and test workflows. A person remains responsible for publication. Tool-specific instructions record the tool, date and limitations when tested. Machine translation is not described as human-reviewed.

Job observations are not market claims

Panta's job-data model keeps the employer source, source observation and normalised job record separate. A posting may appear in several languages or sources. “Observed” describes when Panta saw a source; it is not the employer's publication date. A company in the index is not proof that it has a current vacancy.

Physical location, remote eligibility, multiple countries and unknown location evidence remain distinct. We do not infer Swiss eligibility from a city name or a Swiss headquarters when the posting does not support it.

Freshness needs evidence

A failed or empty refresh does not by itself prove that every job has closed. Public claims about current roles must depend on approved sources, recent successful observations and visible uncertainty. We do not promise complete coverage or real-time updates.

Corrections

If a page is wrong, outdated or unclear, send the URL and the point that needs review to hello@withpanta.com. We will check the original evidence, correct material errors and update the review date when the substance changes.

Publication gate

A guide is ready only after factual and editorial review, working-link checks, usable rendering, honest attribution and an accurate publication date. Translations also need review by someone who can judge the target language in its Swiss context.
